Data Storage & Retention

Chat Messages: Deleted immediately after session ends
User Profiles: Stored until account deletion
Payment Data: Processed through secure third-party services
Analytics: Anonymous usage data for app improvement

Third-Party Services

We integrate with trusted services:

Supabase: Database and authentication (encrypted storage)
Firebase: Push notifications (FCM tokens only)
bKash/Nagad: Payment processing (no card details stored)
Cloudinary: Asset delivery for avatars and stickers

Advertising

BRIQ displays simple banner advertisements during queue wait times. Our approach to advertising is privacy-first:

Ad Type: Only static banner ads are displayed — no video, pop-up, or intrusive ad formats
Ad Content: Ads feature our partner sites only, shown in random rotation
No Tracking: We do not use cookies or any tracking technology for ads
Analytics Only: We count ad views and clicks solely for internal analytics — no personal data, chat messages, or user information is collected or shared with advertisers
No Third-Party Networks: We do not use third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdSense) that could track your behavior across sites

In short: we show a simple ad for a partner site, count if you see it or click it, and that is all. No data leaves your device for advertising purposes.
